When I think about Maria, the first thing that comes to mind is what a great baker she was. Her lemon bars and nut horns are so delicious and hard to make and she made them with love just like the love she had for her family and friends. A very special lady who will be missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace my friend. I'm gonna miss our chats at family gatherings.♥️
A lesson I learned from Mom would be making memories for future generations, as a grandmother. The memories she made for my daughters by always playing games, by being there for them. Set the example for myself, as now what I do with my grandchildren. I make sure to create those same memories of always playing games, always being there in their world, and interacting with them. Cooking with them. Doing all those great things she did as Oma for my daughters, I so dearly want to do for my grandchildren today with that much steadfast love. She so loved all her grandchildren.
