Eva Maria Eibeck's Obituary
Eva Maria Eibeck, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on August 31, 1934, in Kisvejke, Hungary, to Elisabeth and Franz Kerner.
Eva’s (known to her family and friends as Maria) life was marked by resilience, devotion, and love. She emigrated from Germany and built a life rooted in family and faith. She shared 70 years of marriage with her devoted husband, Andrew Eibeck, who survives her.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter: Cristina Duffie (Eibeck) and her husband Patrick Duffie - their children, Bryan Duffie (spouse Kyra Duffie, née Smith) and Kristin de Bien (spouse Orlando de Bien), blessed Eva with great-grandchildren Heidi, Andy, and Toby de Bien; and her son: Calvin Eibeck and his wife Carrie Eibeck (née Maier) - their children, Julie Murray (spouse Patrick Murray), blessed with great-grandchildren Blake and Lilly Murray; and Jennifer Eibeck (spouse Donald Zaworski), carry forward Eva’s legacy of kindness and strength.
Eva was predeceased by her brother, Franz Kerner, and is survived by his wife, Gusti Kerner. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Her family will remember her gentle spirit, sweet smile and love for the Lord. Eva’s legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and the countless lives she touched with her compassion.
Graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. To process to graveside together, please meet at 11:45 a.m. at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
