Time has a way of passing before we realize it. Is it possible that this summer marks 5 years since Felix died? Perhaps because he is often remembered it seems he just left us. I vividly recall the day I met him, and I also recall that it wasn’t just my sister that was so taken with him. My youngest son was an infant, today he is 28. He also still carries the nickname “The King” which was hilariously bestowed upon him by his Uncle Felix. All of my sons loved and respected their Uncle Felix. Our entire family did. And when Jocelyn said they were getting married I was so happy for them both because they belonged together. I know that I am one of so many that continue to miss Felix. He genuinely knew what was important in life. And when I reflect back on stories he told me, or how he carried out his life, I continue to learn from him and, of course, miss him. May he rest in the peace that he richly deserves.
With Love, Justine Kellleher
