Felix R. Acierno Jr.'s Obituary
Felix R. Acierno Jr., 79, of Parma, Ohio passed peacefully at his home on July 27, 2021. He was born on June 15, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Felix R. Sr. And Florence (nee Wirtanen) Acierno. Felix was a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and later served as a Cleveland police officer for 35 years. Felix will be fondly remembered for his love of the Cleveland Indians, running, and participating in many 5Ks, 10ks and he proudly accomplished 13 marathons. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Jocelyn (nee Kelleher) Acierno of 23 years; dear children Markum (Michelle) Acierno, Gina (Stephen) Schneider, and Christina (Mike) DeLuca; cherished grandchildren Mark, Sean (deceased), Frankie, Adam, Sara, Jason, Christopher, and Jenna; brother of Tom (Phyllis), Frank (Laura), Patrick “Augie” (Be), Robin Munoz (Kenny); and dearest friend in the world Tim Misny; loving fur daddy of Tiger, Anubis, Atticus, Andy, and Aaron. Services with military honors will take place at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Details to follow.
