Francis A. Procaccini, 79, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away on January 3, 2021 in Westlake, Ohio. He was born on July 8, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Anthony Edward Procaccini and Josephine Marie (nee Rainone). Francis was a proud veteran of the US Army and active member of VFW Post 9871 in North Ridgeville. He retired as a dedicated member of the Cleveland Police force. Beloved husband of Janice Procaccini of 17 years; loving father of Anthony E. (Barbara Carson) Procaccini, Melissa (Tony) Reagon, Jason (Melissa) Novak, Rob (Shauna) Stone; cherished grandfather of Jaclyn, Jon, Alex, Gabriella, Kenny, and Nora; dear brother of John (Cathy), Anthony E. (deceased), Joann (Pat) Lavecchia, Lorraine (Raymond) Leavitt, Patricia (Mike) Forther, Christine (Edward) Swan; and uncle of many. Friends and family may call on Sunday, Janaury 10, 2021 from 2-6 PM at Sunset Funeral Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 with police honors at 5:45 PM. Funeral services with military honors will take place on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10 AM at Westwood Abbey at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Francis’ memory to Ames Family Hospice, 30080 Hospice Way, Westlake, Ohio 44145.
