George Nicklos' Obituary
George Nicklos, 87, of Middleburg Heights, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020. Born in Cleveland to the late John and Theresa Nicklos. George is preceded in death by his siblings Stella Moshos and Nick Nicklos. He is survived by his loving wife Carole (nee Spoth) of 64 years; children Lori Bethea, Linda Nicklos, and John Nicklos; grandchildren Nick, Emilie, George, and Ryan; great-grandchildren Audrie and Ava; and many other loving family and friends.
George loved golfing and was very proud of his two hole-in-ones' that he hit, tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, Cleveland sports, and most importantly his family. George was a very friendly person and was famous for giving everyone a nickname that stuck with them their whole life. George will be dearly missed in the days to come.
A visitation will be held at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 3pm until 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 2pm also at the Sunset Chapel and will receive military honors. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park following services.
