Glenn G. Gresch's Obituary
Glenn G. Gresch, 65, of Elyria, Ohio, passed away on May 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, humor, creativity, and unwavering devotion to his family.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Glenn was the son of Glen and the late Edna Gresch. He was the beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia “Patti” Gresch, with whom he built a life filled with laughter, partnership, and deep affection. Together they raised three children—Brittany (Ryan) Sklenicka, Zachary (Shannon Hemmerle), and Stephanie Biada—each of whom he supported with pride, encouragement, and boundless love. Glenn was also a cherished grandfather to Reagan, Ryleigh, and Landon, who brought him immeasurable joy. He is survived by his sister, Nora Mikolaj.
Glenn dedicated many years of his life to serving his community as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. His work ethic, reliability, and friendly spirit made him a familiar and welcome presence to those along his route.
A lifelong Beatles fan, Glenn found joy in music, art, and creativity. He was an artist in both talent and spirit, always finding ways to express himself and share beauty with others. His sense of humor was unmatched—quick, clever, and capable of lighting up any room. Glenn had a gift for making people laugh, and he carried that gift with him everywhere he went.
Glenn always, always put others before himself — a selflessness he carried with him every day and up until his very last moment. His generosity, kindness, and instinct to help were simply part of who he was.
Above all, Glenn was a devoted family man. He was his son’s biggest fan at every game, a steady source of support for his daughters, a loving husband, a proud grandfather, and a caring son and son‑in‑law. His presence was a constant source of comfort, strength, and joy to those who loved him.
Glenn’s memory will live on in the stories he told, the art he created, the laughter he inspired, and the love he gave so freely.
