Jack Dale Patton's Obituary
Jack Patton, age 90, of Avon, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 10th surrounded by loved ones. Preceded in death by his parents Ford and Madelyn (McCoy) Patton of Kittanning, Pennsylvania; siblings Paul Patton and Jean Dame, and grandson, Bradley Hunsberger. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie Johnston Patton. Loving father of Susan (Don Hunsberger) Patton and Doug Patton. Cherished G-pa of Katheryn Hunsberger.
Jack proudly served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1963 and was based in Fort Riley, Kansas. He attended Wayne State University and Geneva College and graduated with a degree in Business Administration after completing his Service.
From 1959 to 2000 Jack worked for Jones & Laughlin Steel Company, later LTV Steel, as Controller, Service Center Division and leader of their Employee Participation Teams.
Jack was a life-long church choir member, bridge player, and polka dancer. He loved the Pennsylvania Polka and taught many residents in his senior living facility this dance. Jack will be sadly missed by those who have known him over the years.

At noon on Friday, November 15, there will be a Celebration of Life service at Westlake United Methodist Church, 27650 Center Ridge Rd, Westlake, OH 44145.
A burial service will follow at 2 pm at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
