John “Bernie” Toorish, age 94, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025. Born on March 2, 1931, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Bernie was the beloved son of the late John M. and Claire Toorish. From the Read Obituary

New Hampshire in 1992 or 1993

Mr Toorish was a warm and extremely friendly.

Met Bernie while employed with Dostal Funeral Services. He was a kind person who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Angela was the love of his life and you could see that sparkle in their eyes whenever they looked at each other. He had so many interesting stories to tell about his days spent with The Four Lads and all the entertainers he me in Hollywood. Was able to see him and the Lads performing around the area many times and enjoyed their shows. So happy they were able to spend 69 years of marriage together. God Bless Bernie and thanks for the memories....
Bernie and I worked together at a different venue, not singing! When things were slower, Bernie would share some of his life memories! Wow, what a lifestyle! His stories were very entertaining and unimaginable.
One a really nice time we shared was when my wife and I hosted a Christmas party at our house for our fellow employees. Of course, Bernie and Angela show up and, Bernie brings his guitar!
Well, I’m certain that our singing made Bernie wince but being the gentleman that he was, he said nothing and continued to sing, with a smile on his face! I will miss Bernie. I’ll just sit back and reminisce with the wonderful memories that he left for me as I listen to the music on the cd’s he gave me. RIP, my friend….
