Joseph (Joe) R. Haluscsak, age 81, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his home in Olmsted Twp., OH. Joe was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Joseph and Emily (Devaty) Haluscsak on September 17, 1943. He married Read Obituary
No words can express my deep sorrow to hear of Joes sudden passing. I knew Joe to always be accepting even in uncomfortable situations. He was a very thoughtful man, strong in his convictions but quietly understanding. I admired him and am so grateful for his willingness to serve our country with the FBI.

Dear Donna:
It is with great shock that I received the bad news. God must have needed another strong angel to help him. I grew up with cousin Joe and his sisters. Even though my father had moved our family to Michigan before I was born, we spent every summer in Cleveland my entire life until I was 12 years old. Memories of playing with my cousins at their homes or at Uncle Andy's out in the country still make me happy. My childhood was wonderful because of my family in Michigan and Ohio. Cousin Joe was special. He even became a FBI Agent. He married a wonderful woman and raised beautiful daughters. They always made us feel welcome for a visit. The world has lost one hell of a man! God bless you Donna & your daughters and keep you safe.

Uncle Joe,
What can I say? Your impression of Nixon, your knowledge of most trees and flowers, your caring nature, your stories of your time at the Bureau, fishing in the pond many moons ago and on boats - a few different boats, Godparent/Aunts and Uncles dinners - sadly, not enough of them.
Thanks for the laughs and the memories and for being my God Father.

How do I share one memory when so much of my life included Joe? Joe and Donna gave me my best friend Mandy and that friendship has spanned close to five decades. I lived across the street from Joe for a long time. He was a source of advice, inspiration and especially wisdom. He’s the wisest person I’ve met by a great margin. If he didn’t know he would find out, that’s what he did to grow and evolve. He never stopped either of those endeavors. Joe taught me a lot about life in lessons and anecdotes it took me years to fully realize.
The best compliment I can give this truly wonderful man is that I wouldn’t be the person I am today without his guidance, kindness and caring. Joe embodied what we all want to see when we look in the mirror; that best version of ourselves that we elusively chase. Joe impacted countless lives and brought a defined positivity and clarity to life. He was a father to many more than just he and Donna’s children. I will miss him dearly but always remember the conversations that changed my life. Thank you and God bless.
