Josephine M. Lovano's Obituary
Josephine Lovano, 100, of Bay Village, formerly of Lakewood, passed away June 19, 2018.
Beloved mother of Grace (Ed Ries) Baron, Vincetta “Cookie” (Ron) Bird, Charles (Cathy) Lovano, Denise Pawlukiewicz, John “Sparky” Lovano, Robert Lovano, and Joannne Lovano; grandmother of 13; great grandmother of 18; great-great grandmother of 5; and aunt and great aunt to many. She was preceded in death by her husband John Lovano; son Salvatore Lovano; and her parents Charles and Vincenza (Sarico) Tantanella.
Josephine was a long-time parishioner of Saint Clement Catholic Church and was very active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, and baking Italian cookies, cannoli, and pastries. Josephine cherished spending time with her beloved family and friends, and she adored her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9-10 AM at Saint Clement Catholic Church, 2022 Lincoln Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107, where her Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10 AM at church.
