Joy L. Lovano-Theobald, 77, passed away October 14, 2019.
Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Lovano and the late Robert Theobald; devoted companion of the late Harry Mitchell; cherished mother of Grace (Brian) Coyne, Sandra (Jerry) Cifranic and Salvatore (Catherine) Lovano II; step-mother of Renee (John) Gaffe, Amy (Jack) Halley and Betsy (Josh) Gooch; dear grandmother of Emily Cifranic, Jessica and Christopher Lovano and Feran (Austin) Sangston; step-grandmother of Caitlin Grover; and four great-grandchildren; beloved sister of the late David Snodgrass and Phyllis (the late Ronald) Johnson.
Joy was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and friend. She enjoyed time with family, going to work to be around others, drum and bugle corp, NASCAR, reading and TV game shows. She worried and cared about others more than herself. Joy loved animals, especially cats.
Visitation is 2-5 p.m., Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence at 12 noon, Monday, October 21. Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
Donations in Joy’s name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH.
