Judy and I shared a friendship of 40 years. She hired me, on the spot, when she was the assistant manager at Joann Fabrics in Westgate Mall. I was "just a kid" I enjoyed a longer relationship with her than I had with 4 members of my immediate family, losing my father at 25, my mother at 29 and 2 older siblings, one before my mother passed and another several years after. We always stayed "connected" even if out of touch for a short spell, we could always just pick things up again, right where we left them. We shared a lot of unique conversations, I am a medium and she never once judged my beliefs or experiences I shared as a matter of fact, she encouraged me to embrace my beliefs. Not so long ago she sought an answer from me about her concerns that after her physical body died that she would forget those she loved, lose memory of everything she loved. I shared my belief that No, she would not, that I believed she would never be separated from those memories, in fact would have a new universal connection to everyone and everything after passing, including limitless memory capacity, like a computer with unlimited storage space, that comforted her, her love for her family and her friends were priority #1. Anyone who knew her understood that, she was such a kind and generous soul, fun to be around, definitely a people-person. I will always treasure the times we got together to just sit by the water, both of us water signs, she a Pisces, me a Scorpio.
To Judy I make this additional comment (because I know you can still hear us)..."I told you so." Your forever friend, Becky
Aunt Judy Kaylor was my aunt on Ernest side. Aunt Judy also shared a birthday with my mom(Norma Mellot) now deceased. Aunt Judy made all my Barbie doll clothes, she also made clothes for myself. She wanted to design and make my first wedding dress but things didn't work out. We had a great conversation the last time I seen her at my mom's funeral. I will keep her in my memories always and I'll miss her dearly. All my thoughts go out to her family. She was a wonderful person.
Judy was like a second mother to me when I was growing up, and a good friend to my mother and sisters whenever she came to visit. I have fond memories of her. She will be missed.
Judy was my sister from the moment we met. It was like we knew each other our entire lives. Her brother, Duane was my husband, now deceased. Judy talked me through my grief and we cried together. My parents met her before they passed and loved her dearly. We shared a lot of memories together. She was one of the kindest, giving and fun loving people I knew. Judy also loved her family. She would keep me updated with pics of them. From her children to her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was proud of them all. I will miss her. Someone like Judy comes along once in a lifetime and I for one was honored to have known her.
