Aunt Kathi was the most caring, loving person. She had the biggest heart and always wore a smile. From when i was child and into my adulthood, she never changed. Welcomed all with open arms and open heart. Without a miss, there was always a card for every occasion. And it was always the first to arrive. We always looked forward to the cookouts, though wish we made it to more. She will always be remembered and missed greatly as she impacted so many with her hospitality and kindness. Such a kind soul. Rest peacefully. We love you.

I always thought of Kathi as my second mom. One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting on the floor petting Scarlett while my mom and Kathi sat in the kitchen drinking coffee and talking. Kathi had such a thoughtful heart and never missed an opportunity to let people know she was thinking of them. She faithfully sent cards for every holiday and special occasion, and my daughter Riley always looked forward to the excitement of receiving something in the mail from her. Kathi brought warmth, kindness, and love to everyone around her. I was blessed to have her in my life, and she will always hold a special place in my heart. She will be deeply missed by me and my family. We all loved her.
You welcomed me into your family which meant so much. You always remembered my birthday. I loved our game nights where we would laugh and just be silly. The holiday cookouts were always memorable. You were a second mom to me and that was truly a blessing. You will be missed by so many. I will miss our talks that helped me through so much. I love you mom.
Aunt Kathi was such a beautiful soul. To know her was to love her. When I first met her, she embraced me like I was her own. I cherished her asking me at every get together if I had to drive back to Ashtabula, so concerned with my well being. The cookouts were always something to look forward to. And I could count on Aunt Kathi to send me a card for every holiday. She was a woman that I aspire to be - loving, devoted, thoughtful. Her passing leaves a large hole in my heart but I am happy that she is at peace. May we all be more like Aunt Kathi.
