Kathleen Ann Lipnos' Obituary
Kathleen Ann Lipnos, 77, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, on July 24, 1948, Kathi was the true glue that held her family together. Throughout her life, she was known for her open-door policy, welcoming anyone into her home and effortlessly acting as a second mom to everyone who crossed her threshold. Her hands were rarely still; she poured her creativity and love into beautiful cross-stitch and knitting projects that her family will cherish forever. She will be remembered for her thoughtful cards for every occasion, family meals, game nights, ever-changing seasonal and holiday decorations, and endless nights sitting around the dining room table laughing and being together. She was the most amazing mother, wife, friend, and "NeeNee." Above all, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and watching her beloved grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 55 years, Louis L. Lipnos; her daughter, Megan, and husband Greg, along with their children, Aiden and Jaxon; her son, Jeremy, and wife Chasity, along with their children, Bryson and Amaya; her son, Ryan; and her son, Kevin, along with his son, Jake. She is also survived by her brother, Ken Likavec, along with her beloved nieces and nephews, Cody, Carrie, Jeh (Stephanie), Dustin and wife Ashley with their children Dawson and Gavin.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Ann Likavec.
Private services will be held on July 13th. A celebration of Kathi's life will be held at a later date for all of those who loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parma Animal Shelter, a charity close to her heart.
