I remember the time I had run from the High School to Learwood, and Mrs. Broadhurst drove by and said, "Hi Jim!" I hate running, so I flagged her down. She pulled over . I told her how much i hated running. Asked if she can just take me back to the library. Im gonna pretend I ran when everyone runs by . Thank God she was super cool, and dropped me . She was laughing at the time, but played along. I will miss her and always remember that day.
Sorry for Your Loss,

Linda was such a caring teacher and friend. When we lost our daughter, she helped us select the Hurbanek scholarships each year. I treasured her insight and advice in making the difficult decisions. Many years ago we crafted together, and Genevieve and Linda produced so many beautiful floral pieces for many shows in the area. She was a great asset to the Avon Lake students, and our entire community. My sympathies to Ryan and Robin and your families at this very sad time. Sue Hurbanek
I first met Linda in my ministry about 45 years ago. No matter what she was doing, Linda always appreciated God’s Word. And she loved Ryan & Robin with a Mother’s heartfelt love! I re-met Robin as an adult where we lived at the time. Little did I know she was a good friend of my daughter! Such a surprising experience! Two generations of friendship, thanks to Linda!!
