I was sad to hear about Mike he was a good person I had alot of respect for Mike,I was the plumber for several years in the company Mike built my and wifes and our childrens first house in the ridgefiield development it was so beutiful, I wish I had gone back to see Mike after I left he was good to me. Mike Schmitt was an important figure in my life and I wouldn't be where I am without his kindness and generosity. He guided BSH for the 20 years that I was there and we went through lots of good times and some rough economic times. He was a steady force and kept us going. He won't be forgotten and will be missed.

Mike’s passing has left a huge void on all of us but his legacy will live on forever. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who inspired us all with his heart and dedication to his family. Mike represented his family business with that same pride and hard work. My family will miss Mike terribly and send their love and prayer's to Kim and her family. Personally Mike was like a brother to me and I will remember always the special bond we had.
