I haven’t seen Otto in years but he was one of my favorites of my Dad’s (Russ Thomas) friends when I was younger.
One of my Dad’s favorite stories about Otto concerned a game of golf back in the seventies. The match was even when they arrived at the 18th tee. Otto hit a great tee shot but then dropped to the ground writhing in pain, complaining about his back (my Dad had operated on his back). He subsequently limped back into the cart and said he was ok. My Dad, shaken, shanked his tee shot. Otto had a great laugh when he informed my Dad he was faking it!
