I remember her wedding. It was by far the fanciest reception I had ever been to. Stouffers! and ice cream for dessert- vanilla scoop bathed in chocolate and coated in coconut. She and Fred were so happy and so in love.

I loved our Christmas Eve celebrations where everyone in my mother’s family would gather to eat and converse. My cousin, Pat, was a wonderful story teller. She could remember so family incidents and we usually ended in fun, loud, happy laughter. Pat was a great teacher and and wrote many educational articles on how to further the love of reading and learning. My love and prayers to her family.
