Ray served his country as in the United States Army and his community as a Police Officer at the Cleveland Police Department for 26 years. A proud moment in Ray’s life was receiving the Medal of Valor from his service at the Cleveland Police Department among many other awards, medals, and recognitions throughout his career. When not working, Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, and tending to his vegetable garden (and eventually he canned everything). Ray was a loved and respected man, and he will be dearly missed in the days to come.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 5PM until 8PM at the Sunset Chapel located at 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, 44070. Ray will be laid to rest at the Pinewood Garden Mausoleum inside Sunset Memorial Park following those services.
