Richard Phillips' Obituary
Richard “Dick” Phillips, age 86 passed away on October 16, 2021.
He is survived by his devoted and loving wife Karen, his children Terry (Lloyd) Troyer, Mike (Liz) Phillips, Shelley (Ron) Bowling, and Jonathan Phillips. His grandchildren Lloyd (Sondra) Troyer, Adrian (Joe) Bailey, Marcus (Jennifer) Troyer, Jessica (Ty) Emerick, and Hannah Bowling. His loving sisters Jackie Timko, and Martha (Bunny) Lippincott. He was also GG (Great Grandpa) to Bella, Jensen, Jacob, Brookelynn, Danielle, Henry, Tristan and Cody, and a host of nieces and nephews, and special friends.
Dick’s parents, Charles and Elizabeth, siblings Charley, Ginny, Pat, Polly, Spike preceded him.
Dick was a retired Federal Aviation Agency Manager/Electronics Engineer, and a United States Air Force Veteran.
Dick was a longtime DEVOTED Pittsburgh Steelers Fan; fishing was his other great passion. We all have so many loving and special memories of sharing life with him as beloved Husband, Father, Grandpa, GG, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 2 pm in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made to the Anne and Donald McGraw Center for Caring – 4715 Worrall Way, Jacksonville, FL 32224-1833.
