Robert Edward Surgenor's Obituary
Robert Edward Surgenor, 95, of Fairview Park went Home to be with our Lord and precious Savior on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Robert was the beloved Husband of Wilda (nee Sturgeon) for nearly 74 years! Robert was preceded in death by his two sons Robert and David.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and referred to as “Uncle Bob” by many. He was a loving member of his close family, but the love he shared to those outside his immediate family extended well beyond blood and he was considered to be a Brother in Christ to thousands. Robert’s gift to preach the Gospel as an Evangelist led many of God’s adopted children to the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ. He lived to proclaim to as many as he possibly could that this is the blood that has the ability to cleanse us from ALL sin (1 John 1:7). Those who believe this truth will see Bob once again, and will be reunited in eternal paradise where he really looked forward to seeing that street of pure gold.
A visitation will be held on August 19, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. A service will directly follow at 2:00 pm at the chapel
