Jake Charboneau
Ron was a beloved member of Game Show Night on Mondays at the Rush Inn. We almost immediately noticed his absence earlier this year, and when we found out that he had passed, we were absolutely gutted.
Ron was a curious and deep man who was loved by many people and always very quickly. I spent many nights staying a bit too long talking about Star Trek, his life, and especially his wife.
It was almost a year into our friendship that we discovered he had HELD ME AS A BABY, and that he had personal connections to my family. He was a true and real friend and is missed terribly.
I was fortunate to meet Ron, and I know many people feel the same.
Attached are two pictures that may make you smile: one is him recreating a childhood picture of him holding me as a baby (although I am a bit more grown now)
The second is what remains of the Game Show Night crew.
Thank you, Ron, for being such a special and heartfelt friend. Your honesty and fearless approach to emotion inspired me to grow.
