I was very saddened to hear about Ruth’s passing. As you know, she and her parents played a big role in my mother’s childhood, when Patty as a young girl went to live with Ruth and her parents when her mother had TB and was in the Sunny Acres Sanatorium near Cleveland. She always spoke fondly of that time with her cousin Ruthie and Aunt Anne and Uncle George. And I appreciated getting to know your mother and family, including spending time with you all on several occasions along Lake Erie over the past two decades. I could see Aunt Ruth had a wonderful spirit and loved to laugh, and I will never forget her smile.
