I met Sandie 22 years ago, when my son was 4 months old, when we started on the same day at Premier. We became instant friends (and I must say gossipers). She witnessed my kids growing up and me hers go from tweens to adulthood. We shared many, many events in those 22 years, both good and bad. She was the most honest person there was, and I loved her for that. She was also very strong and opinionated, which I also loved about her. Sandie adored her family and was so proud of their achievements. They truly were the light of her life. She will be missed.

When we moved into this neighborhood in 2022, Sandie was the very first person to welcome us. We will never forget how she immediately came over to ask if we needed anything, making us feel so at ease in our new home. It was such a relief to know we had such kind and welcoming neighbors. Every time I came home from work, if she was sitting on her front porch—her favorite spot—she would always run across the driveway just to say hi. Sandie loved talking about her kids and grandkids, and her stories always made me laugh. We shared some special moments, from exchanging Christmas cookies to handing out Halloween candy together. She was a vibrant and joyful person who will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
We will miss her dearly.

My heart goes out to all who loved Sandie. She and I go back to 1961. Sandie was always witty, smart, kind, friendly, and compassionate. She had a welcoming smile for everyone. I don't think she ever met a "stranger" as she made friends so quickly. Teachers loved her for many reasons. Sandie was always helpful to her teachers, raising her hand to answer questions when nobody else did, and helping other students who struggled with a new concept. As we matured through the years, Sandie never lost her kind and youthful spirit. I will miss my sweet friend. May she rest in peace. We will meet up again in heaven.

I grew up across the street from Sandie. All the kids on the street always hung out together, we had a wonderful childhood. I was older than her. Occasionally I would babysit for her when I was a senior in high school. She has been my friend on Facebook since. I have enjoyed watching her posts of her family and want to send you my sincere sympathy for your loss. God bless you all.
