Sandra Marie Tarach's Obituary
Sandra “Sandie” Marie Tarach lived a life full of love, both giving and receiving.
Born March 1, 1955 in Euclid, Ohio to Michael and Alice Krech, she was the baby of their family of five. Her two older brothers, Gary & Dale, were notorious for pulling pranks on her, and everyone always loved hearing the stories of her being rolled up in a carpet by them and having to find her way out.
She married Joe Tarach March 15, 1986 (a day he tells anyone and everyone brought the light into his life) and soon they had the children she always dreamed of: Joseph (Joey), Kristina (Trini), and Alycia (Aly). Sandie would tell anyone who asked (and even those that didn’t) all about her children; they were her biggest joy in life and proudest achievement. Her close relationship with each of them is testament to the type of mom she was: loving, supportive, silly, and willing to do anything for her kids.
She was promoted to Grandie on February 12, 2018 with the birth of her first grandchild, Theodore (Teddy), followed by his brother Clark, and their cousin Enzo. If she was proud to be a mom, it was nothing compared to being their Grandie, and she was the absolute best one out there, adored by each of them.
Sandie wasn’t just a mom, she was a best friend, a wife, a Guardians baseball lover, the life of the party, the BeeGees’ biggest fan, a huge klutz (a trait she passed on big time to her daughter Aly), the strongest person many of us will ever know, and most importantly, the heart and soul of her family.
The hole she left will never be filled, but her memory will be a constant reminder to always blast the music in the car, never stop hoping for a World Series win for the Guards, and to be as silly as you can, whenever you can.
Sandie is survived by her husband Skip, children Joe (Christina) Tarach, Kristina (Damian) Beifus, and Aly Tarach; grandchildren Theodore & Clark Beifus and Enzo Munoz; brothers Dale Krech(Pat Soler) & Gary (Sue) Krech, niece Laurie (Dave) Butcher, nephew Michael Krech, her beloved mom Alice Krech, and the many, many friends who loved her like family. She was preceded by her dad, Michael Krech, and sister-in-law Kathy Krech.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Sandie’s name to either St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Lake Humane Society. A private Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
I’ve got sunshine on a cloudy day
When it’s cold outside, I’ve got the month of May
I guess you’d say, what can make me feel this way?
