When Scott was younger he and my son Bill were like brothers. Getting into trouble in the poultry barn together. As they grew they worked the concession route and still got in and out of trouble together. He will always be like a son to me and a brother to Bill. Rest in peace Scott.
Our sympathies to everyone in the family. Scott has gone through so much and was so blessed to have all of you there to see him through his time. He never complained and was so strong. He was always concerned about others and we about him hoping he would be better. He was a caring and compasionate man. Our prayers for him and for the family. Bless you all. John and Nancy Hanacek
Susan and Scott's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Scott and I reconnected on FB but I never knew he was ill. I so appreciated hearing from him about his milestones. He always gave me credit when it was all him. So many people I have worked with in the past remain as friends today. I am happy to say that Scott was one of them. He will be missed.

Sue, Amy, Pops and the whole family, we are truly heartbroken over your loss. We too feel an emptiness that can't be filled. Even though we are not family, Scott always made sure that we felt like it and told us often. It is through him we met all of you and now have this wonderful extended kind of family. So with our hearts full of sorrow, love, and sympathy, we are thinking of all of you during this time of grief. Sandy & Brian
I always had fun talking to Scott while he was set up at the Rabbit shows. Scott always had a smile on his face and took the time to chat. If we caught sight of each other from across the parking lot we were yelling– hi how ya doing. A great guy that will really be missed Bonnie Saunier
My deepest sympathy. I just saw Scott at the Lucasville poultry show, I had bought a pair of buff cochins, from him. He helped me pick out a pair that he thought, would be nice birds to show. He was very kind and very helpful. I just learned of his passing. Again, my deepest sympathy. Terri Stoffer
I am truly sorry to hear about Scott's passing. He was a very nice person who gave his fight against cancer everything he had. He will always be an important part of his family as he is not gone…. but only in another room, waiting and watching over all of you.
Scott followed my chicken trailer into Berea fair late one night as it swayed stacked high enough to hit the street lights. He said it looked for sure to hit a few!! LOL! lots of laughter!MARK FREDRICK
