Scott D. Griffin's Obituary
Scott D. Griffin, 55, of Harrisville Twp., passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 8, 1961 in Berea, OH, to James W. Griffin and Jean (Kurfis) Griffin. He was a graduate of Berea High School.
Scott owned and operated a food concession business for over 30 years, attending local fairs and festivals across Northeast Ohio.
He enjoyed raising and showing African Geese and Standard Buff Cochin chickens, working in his yard and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his partner of 16 years, Susan Wacker; step-son Eric Rybarczyk; father, James W. Griffin; brother, James L. Griffin, Sr.; sisters, Laurie (Griffin) Trail and Amy (Griffin) Masters; nieces and nephews, Michael and Bridget Hall, and David and Joseph Trail, and James L. Griffin, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Griffin.
Scott was a caring individual, always thinking of others. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2016, at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH.
