Theodore "Ted" Rossell's Obituary
Theodore Rossell, age 88, passed peacefully at home on August 28, 2025. He is survived by Pamela, his beloved wife of 54 years. His parents and sister passed early in Ted’s life and he eventually made his home with his brother John and sister-in-law Marge. Their children Terri, CJ, and Mark were especially close to their Uncle Ted. He is survived by many more nieces and nephews. He is also mourned by his brother-in-law Danny and special family friends Karen & Steve, Jill & Sam, and their families.
Ted grew up in Cleveland and served in the U.S. Navy for four years and the Merchant Marines for six years. He retired from the U.S. Post Office after 22 years. Ted and Pam loved vacationing at Campbell Lake in West Michigan. Ted loved tending the campfire and fishing on the lake and was famous for “the ones that got away”. He was a homebody who enjoyed reading, watching classic movies, and spending time with his beloved Min-doggie and a succession of cats – Little One, Buffett, and Brutus. Ted requested that no services be held.
