John And Lynn Bliss
From John and Lynn Bliss:
Sending our sympathy and love to all, in the loss of our brother, Tommy. (After his own mother passed away, Tom asked, who"s going to call me Tommy? John said, he would.) He was always a good husband to my sister, Pat. Our mother, Frances Bliss, was always delighted to see Tom at our home in Fremont. Tom put up with my other sisters, pulling gags on Pat. He was also a good host to my wife, son and daughter, when they would visit from California.
Pat took us out to eat in Cleveland, on its coldest day in history. It happened to be our honeymoon. Only one restaurant was open. Pat told us, about the time she got Tom's car stuck in the snow in their driveway. She went in and told him his car was stuck in the snow. She said Tom grumbled and complained, as he put on his fire boots. She said it was so noisy, she had to go upstairs to take a shower. We, both still laugh at that story, she told us 35 years ago. Tom put up with a lot.
With my six sisters, Tom was as close to a brother as I had, and we will miss him dearly.
We are writing this as you are all at the funeral chapel. We are praying for you, all. There are many other California ladies praying for you from my Bible Study group. We are praying for Elizabeth's healing from cancer, and that all of you would be given strength and comfort, from the Lord.
