Walter George Viergutz, age 93, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020. He was born February 17, 1927, in Ravenna, son of the late Walter and Rose (nee Lukas) Viergutz. Walter was a proud member of Carpenters Read Obituary
Thank you very much for sharing the service with us on line. We all loved Uncle Walter. My Dad was thrilled to have Walter as his brother-in-law and as the husband of his sister Anna. We shared a lot of good times with Walter. Working on the addition to our house, playing uno, and the white elephant Christmas gifts are just a few of my fond memories of Uncle Walter. He will be missed.

I have fond memories of my Uncle Walter. He was a good man and will be greatly missed. I remember many a 4th of July watching fireworks from their yard, marveling at how much he could grow in a small garden, white elephant gift exchanges, and lots of garage sales. I have lived away from Ohio for a very long time and am thankful that we were able to visit with Uncle Walter and Aunt Ann at their home shortly before they moved and again at Brookdale.
I hope that he and my Dad are building something together again and that my Mom is serving them snacks.

I have many wonderful memories of my Uncle Walter. He truly was one of the great ones and will be greatly missed. I will always cherish the times we had together watching 4th of July fireworks from their yard, marveling at how much he could grow in a small garden, the White Elephant games, garage sales and fun family times together.
